Personal Statement

My goals are to get a great education and compete at the highest level I can achieve in soccer. I played soccer when I was in Kindergarten but stopped and have played in competitive recreation leagues in swimming and basketball  up through 9th grade. In 6th grade I tried out for a club team.  This year I will be playing for Sting NE ECNL-RL B06/05 Bergt team. I love playing soccer, trying to practice or watch every chance I get.  Besides sports, I took piano lessons for at least 6 years, competing in many competitions, and volunteer to deliver Meals on Wheels with my family. I don't know what I want for a job but right now but I am interested in architecture, construction and engineering.

  • Strengths: Your overall technical ability was on full display. We thought you were very comfortable with the ball at your feet. This ability will help your transition to the college game as it is becoming more and more a super technical game. We thought you had good pace and were capable of making good decisions on the ball when you had time and space. AREAS TO IMPROVE Improve your speed of play and speed of thought. Anytime you make a jump up to a higher level of play the biggest adjustment is the speed of play. Focus on scanning the field when you do not have the ball and knowing what you are going to do before you get the ball. The more scanning and work you do without the ball will allow you to move quicker, more informed decisions. We highly encourage you to reach out to any schools you have an interest in via email. Do not wait around for them to contact you!!! Please let me know if you have any questions. Brad Franks Associate Head Coach Men’s Soccer

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
