Playing soccer in college is a dream of mine, and as I have gotten older and realized how important , a goal that I am willing to work my hardest to make a reality. The most important thing I have adopted as I have gotten older is my work ethic, which enables me to excel in school, sports, and in having chances to relax. The most important thing that I think of when I play is to work hard and never give up in my team and it shows, as I always track back and provide any information to my teammates because anything can happen when you put yourself in a good position. Along with that, I am good at seeing the field, picking up the smallest of runs that contribute to my strong sense of assessing and snuffing out an opponents attack. A big weakness of mine has been pace, and it does factor in my game, yet I have been able to balance it out with a stronger anticipation for the next play and also using better angles to my advantage when going in for tackles. This past season, our defense did well, recording 7 shutouts in 20 games. Academically, my grades are high, maintaining a 3.87 unweighted GPA and a 4.6 weighted GPA, taking multiple AP classes throughout my years in high school. Finding a strong academic and athletic school is important for me because it gives me an opportunity to live my dream of playing college soccer as well as getting a strong education that will lead me to having a good career later in life. Currently, I want to study engineering in college, and hope to find a program where I can do this as well as play soccer. I also participate in my school's National Honor Society program, as well as in my school's Engineering Club. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and for your consideration.
