Soccer has been a core part of my life since I was three years old, fueling my passion and shaping who I am both on and off the field. My years playing on Hopkinton Soccer Club have taught me discipline, teamwork, and the drive to constantly improve, which are qualities I carry into every aspect of my life. During my freshman year, I played as a swinger, which helped me develop versatility and support my team while also strengthening my skills. Since then, I’ve earned a spot on the varsity team, where I play as a defensive center mid and defense. This role has challenged me to improve my tactical awareness, leadership, and ability to stay composed under pressure. Playing defense has deepened my appreciation for the strategic side of soccer such as anticipating opponents' moves, organizing the team from the back, and making split-second decisions to protect the goal. As I look ahead to my future in soccer, my goal is to continue playing at the collegiate level. I am excited by the challenge of competing at a higher level, where I can push myself further, grow as a player, and contribute to a team that shares my passion for the game. Soccer has been a constant source of joy and motivation in my life, and I am eager to continue this journey in college, where I can refine my skills, learn from experienced coaches, and be part of a dedicated team.
