Carson Filardo '21 Recruiting Profile

As long as I can remember I have been playing sports. My family has been supporting my passion for sports from the beginning. I have enjoyed playing a sport each season with Soccer as year round. I have continue to be a Four sport athlete at Manchester High School West and started playing at the Varsity level for all four sports. Soccer  also a 3 year captain, Football (Kicker), Basketball & Spring Track. I have always wanted to play in college and dream of being a professional athlete. I’m driven by the game and my will to always improve as a player. I am a focused, determined and always looking to develop my skills to the next level and support my teammates. I feel my experiences as a 4 sport athlete provide me the use of different parts of myself physically and mentally. I believe my desire to always improve as well as my drive to win will help me succeed at the next level.

My academic goals are similar to my athletic goals. I want to be a lifelong learner always improving on my academic in high school in order to be accepted into a Top college.

Then, I want to achieve my dream of earning a college degree in the field of Sports Management.  Athletics have provided me with so many opportunities making me want to be in a career where I can share the impact sports has made on my life, whether it be by coaching, or recruiting.

When I am not playing sports or doing homework I am spending time with my family and friends. I truly believe sports are a way to bring people together and provide opportunities to everyone regardless of their abilities.
