I'm am a hard working student athlete, my parents raised me with the expectation that my academics take priority over athletics. As a student, I might not be the smartest in the class, but I pride myself on my work ethic. I go to a prep school, which has change my life in several ways. I now live by myself in a dormitory and I am now an independent person; I feel more prepared for college. The main reason I went to a prep school was to challenge myself in and out the classroom. The school provides the materials to make me strive to become my very best. The school has also challenged me in soccer. It has helped be to become mentally strong and block out people that once doubted me. Currently I am a freshman playing with the varsity soccer team and I have started every game to this year. My main position is left back, growing up with a British trainer, he has taught me soccer has to do with your technique and thinking about the play ahead. I always try to play only one or two touches when possible. I also play at GPS (Global Premier Soccer) where I also start at left back on the first team. We play in the NPL (National Premier League) which is the toughest league in the New England area. Thank you for taking to read this.
