I believe that what makes me a good candidate for any team are the chances that I can create to score. That's my job. It's what I do. Besides from that, I consider myself a good teammate on and off the field. I'm a good listener and follow instructions. How am I different from other recruits? We all come from different backgrounds but I feel like ultimately we all want the same thing which is to play soccer at the college level and maybe even at higher levels. I was born in Colombia and lived there until I was 13 years old, then I moved here. It wasn't easy fitting in, I didn't even make the soccer team in middle school because "I didn't speak the language". But I wasn't going to give up so I learned the words that I needed to know to play like "Man on" or "Play it through". Then, I talked to the coach and he gave me another chance and I made it. Since that time I know that you can't give up on something you love, and soccer is what I love.
