The next goal for my soccer career is to play at the collegiate level--whichever division that may be. I always strive to push myself on and off the soccer field but ultimately, I want to choose the school that is the best fit for me athletically and academically. I am a good candidate because I have been playing soccer since I learned how to walk. It is the game that I love and is something that I want to pursue because it gives me structure in my daily life and allows me to feel comfortable amidst all the chaos that comes with grades and school--in particular my AP courses. I've been playing soccer at a high level for the past six year throughout middle school and high school when my academic responsibilities have been a priority. Academics has always been important but it makes me feel lucky to have soccer to structure my day. Soccer allows me to release all the stress and pressure that comes with getting good grades. On the soccer field I pride myself on being a cool head and always being a mediator between my teammates and the goal we are pursuing. I am determined and focused on the task at hand and will always maintain a positive attitude in order to achieve our goals. I think that the experience I have playing soccer while maintaining a position at the top of my class academically deems me fit to play at the collegiate level. I will be a valuable part to any coach's team and I look forward to taking on the challenges that come with being a student-athlete.
