I started playing lacrosse when I was nine after a town coach saw me playing soccer and invited me to give it a try. I have played soccer since I was six. I love playing sports in general, and lacrosse is by far my favorite. While there wasn't a 2020 lax season, I started on my JV lacrosse team as a freshman (2019 season) at Montclair HS, which is intensely competitive across the region in both women's lacrosse and soccer. In soccer, I played Varsity in the 2019 and 2020 seasons. We ended the 2020 season as State Champs in our division, and we were District, Regional, and Sectional Champions in the 2019 season. I have a 4.47 (of 4.0) weighted GPA (all As thus far). This year (11th grade), I am taking four AP classes, one high-honors class, and I have excelled in science and math, which I'd like to continue to study in college. Next year, I plan to take five AP classes, adding computer science to the mix. I like to challenge myself on the field, and I am proud that coaches and teachers have consistently called out my attitude, effort, and leadership. I also participate in volunteer activities around my community, and I am the co-leader of both TOPSoccer and Cycle for Survival at my school.
