Hi, my name is Logan Forte. I have been playing soccer since I was eight years old, and specifically honing my skills as a goalkeeper for the last six. (I was meant to play goalie.) I actually enjoy the pressure, the tension of keeping the ball from entering the net. It's a game, but it's more than that too. There is no better feeling than putting my gloves to the ball and making the save. It's about that trust the team puts on me to be the last stop, to keep them all together, working toward our common goal. My personal mantra is: positive mind, positive life.
I currently play club ball for Morris Elite Pre USL team, NJ ODP, and I am proud to represent Point Pleasant High School for their varsity team. Training at the Keeper Institute has taught me how to be a good goalkeeper and an even better person who is mentally strong enough to handle the pressure of the position. I look forward to taking my game to the college level and further my development both in the sport and in academics.
