Agustin Avila '28 Recruiting Profile

It's been my lifelong dream to play soccer at the highest level and especially to play for the Argentinian national team. I'm a good fit for college soccer because I'm a leader, hardworking, and passionate for the game. I'm different from the other recruits because of my high rate of progression. Just three years ago in sixth grade, I had been cut from my Middle School soccer team and had no motivation to keep training in soccer. Then in eighth grade I became the starting goalie for FC Neshanic 2010 which was ranked 143rd in the state according to gotsoccer.com. And today I'm playing for NJ Premier, a top twenty team in the state of New Jersey, while having forty minutes (half a game) as guaranteed playing time per game. All while being the starter for my High School's Varsity team.
