Confidence, determination and leadership are the qualities that set me apart from other goal keepers.  I have learned through experience and hard training that the role of the goal keeper goes well beyond defending the goal and reinstating the attack.  As the last line of defense, I am a courageous and gutsy player with excellent judgment and a willingness to rush out of the box when necessary.   

Through experience, I have learned how to keep calm even at times when my teammates may not be playing their best game or when we are behind by several goals.   I believe that no matter what is happening on the field, the goal keeper must keep his cool, stay positive, and keep the team working. I have a great deal of energy, team spirit, and most importantly, the ability to lift the morale of my teammates.  I view myself as a leader on the field and my teammates frequently look to me for verbal directions about the opponent’s positions and strategies.

My goal is to pursue a college program that will challenge me academically and athletically.  I am a hardworking and strong student.   I know that I have what it takes to play soccer at the collegial level. I am confident that my determination, work ethic, leadership ability as well as my athletic skills will make an immediate impact on your team!
