2013 High School ...Personal Statement
I fell in love with soccer as a very young child watching my father play, and eventually became involved with various club programs and traveling teams. At age 8 I started training as a Goalkeeper and have truly invested myself in the position. Over the past few years I've been playing at a high level at both my age group and the age group one year older than mine, obtaining a state-cup championship with U17 FC Premier Santos, as well as spending some time with the FC Copa Juniors who are currently ranked 4th Nationally. Ultimately my goal is to pursue a career in law or business through earning a college degree, while continuing to play the game that I love at a high level. I can promise to always work to my fullest potential and to support my teammates as a leader. I've spent time training young kids at various goalkeeper clinics. This I have found has brought me great joy and taught me many valuable lessons about life.
