My name is Tyler Erickson and I aspire to play college soccer. I am a 5'7 center back and mid fielder at La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, NM. I am a player that can play multiple positions and I feel this will help me if a specific position is needed in college. In my last my tournament I was asked to play forward and I scored four goals. Playing soccer in college is a goal I expect to achieve.
I have a 3.59 GPA. For now I plan to major in Architecture, Engineering or Business. Failure is something I cannot stand. Many guys say they're driven, but fact of the matter is few are willing to do what others won't in order to accomplish what others can't. My current goals, as I am back in season for high school are to continue to add strength and speed while maintaining my technical skills. In addition to my extensive soccer schedule I train with a strength and conditioning coach twice a week to ensure I keep these results. I will be working to get playing time as a freshman in college anywhere I go. I would like to go to a school with a great atmosphere where I can find balance between the class and the field. I take all opportunities and love to show up on the field. I am open to different types of schools, although I would prefer one with a stable hierarchy of coaches and courses in which I can major in architecture or engineering. An environment in which I could learn from others and make an impact as soon as possible would be great. I will absolutely look through all opportunities.
