Jeremiah Avery '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jeremiah Avery. I am currently a Senior at Socorro High School in Socorro, New Mexico. I have played soccer my entire life from AYSO, to tournament team, to high school. I've always loved to play soccer because you can strengthen friendships and learn valuable life skills like teamwork and decision making. As I've progressed in my soccer career, I have learned skills such as how to read the habits of attackers, making smart decisions near the box, and making smart passes through the back to the midfield. I have also learned that academics come before anything else. Soccer has been a huge motivating factor to keep my grades in check throughout middle school and high school. I am a  very coachable athlete and understand that I do not know everything about soccer and can learn many many things from a coach who has much better knowledge than me.
