Personal Statement
The summer of 2017 was one of the most important summers of my life. I was able to create my school's first ever soccer team that would compete with other schools. I became captain of the team, and was able to lead us in how we play and make all new connections with people I had never even met. If I had to describe myself, I would say I am self-led. I love taking the initiative in order to better myself or the people around me. It never ceases to amaze how your actions can directly affect someone, so I always try to keep a positive face and encourage my fellow teammates to always push themselves.
