Soccer has always been a huge part of my life; ever since I can remember, I was playing sports and trying to become a better player. My Freshman season, we placed 1st at our sectionals; this was a huge accomplishment for me and my team . During my club season, I had a hip tendon avulsion. This caused me to be on crutches and to be out for the rest of the season. This injury has shown me the dedication and hard work needed to become a college athlete. My Sophomore season, we were knocked out in the second round of sectionals; this taught me the need to work as a team. If the team does not play like a unit, everything falls apart.
My voyage in the world of sports has shown me that I always want to be involved with them; playing in college would help me achieve that goal. I hope to continue and maintain my academic status and become either valedictorian or salutatorian. Having this academic backing will give me great confidence going into my college career. I will always work as hard as possible when it comes to school, as this will help me achieve my goal of becoming a doctor in the sports medicine field. Being involved in sports for my whole life is a big dream for myself and being in the sports medicine field is a step closer to making that happen. Hopefully, I will one day fully achieve that goal and become a doctor for a sports team. The sport of soccer has had a huge impact on my life, and it has guided me to where I am today. I hope that it will continue to guide me into college and beyond.
