Patrick Sweeney '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Chaminade High School located in Mineola, NY.  I am a dedicated and committed player that works hard all the time. My goal is to play soccer at the collegiate level.  I take AP classes and have achieved Honor Roll all trimesters. I am a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). I belong to various clubs at school in addition to soccer. My key strengths are leadership, sportsmanship and technique. Athletics has always played a large role in my daily life and has helped me to learn the core values of team work,  time management and commitment. I have played club level soccer for seven years. I started playing on the Long Island Rough Riders for two years (U11-U13). I then went to play on the LISC (Long Island Soccer Club-'04) Academy team. I was there five years playing up a grade on the '04 team. I am currently playing on the NY HOTA Bavarian Club 2005 team which is in the Premier 1 Division of EDP.  I also play on the Chaminade High School Varsity soccer team and we won the 2021 NY CHSAA State Championship. I would like the opportunity to play soccer at the collegiate level and to find a program where I can further develop as a player while pursuing academic endeavors simultaneously.
