For my junior and senior years of high school, my goal is to play at the highest level of golf, compete regularly and contribute to the success of my high school golf team. I am an accomplished student and passionate golfer. I work every day to be better on the course and in the classroom. My end goal for my college years is to play on a competitive golf team at a school where I can make an impact on the course and excel academically.
I want to play college golf because I love the game. Golf has been a constant and positive part of my high school years and I cannot imagine my life without my clubs. I picked up a golf club early on at about 3 years old. I caught the bug about 5 years ago and started playing in the MetPGA and have not looked back. I spend most days on the course and I never get tired of it. I like the mental challenges of golf and the physical complexity of the game. My personal highlight was winning the Junior Club Championship this year. I lost on the 36th hole the year before and made it a personal goal of mine to come back and win this year.
I want to major in Business/Economics. My dad is in finance and I enjoy hearing about what he does. My grandfather talks constantly about the markets and our economic future and since he is often the one driving me to the course I have learned a lot. I am also taking a two year Bloomberg Business course at school and really enjoy it.
