Personal Statement

Soccer has always played an important role in my life. I started at the age of 5 in The Netherlands where I grew up. Locally I always played on the best teams. When I was 10 years old the KNVB recruited me for the regional team, team East. From there the scouts of Go Ahead Eagles, a professional club in Deventer (Netherlands) recruited me for their youth program U13. With my family I moved to the USA right after my 13th birthday and I started playing for New York Soccer Club Academy. My High School years I spent on the Varsity teams combined with New York Soccer Club. I am very excited to play MLS Next U19 for New York Soccer Club this year.

I will bring to team great technical skills a lot of endurance and I am a sociable team mate.

Hopefully I can continue my passion for the game in college!
