Ian Blugh '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi

My name Ian Blugh. I am 16, 6' 1" and weigh 164 lbs. I play Left Full Back for BW Gottschee U15/16 Academy. We are currently ranked 14th in the country by Topdrawsoccer. Our fall 2015 season was very good. Our record was 6W,2L,4T. Our defense gave up less than a goal a game.

I am a very good student and take my education very seriously. My current GPA is 4.0.  I plan to Major in Biology. While I am a good student, I still find the time to hang out with my friends.  I am also involved in my school concert band where I play the trumpet.

I also enjoy giving back to the soccer community.  I have volunteered to be an assistant coach at our club summer camps.I plan to coach again this summer.

I plan to consider colleges that are a good match for me academically.   I am very passionate about soccer and if that works out also, that would be great!  I have a cousin who is currently playing at Boston University. He has successfully managed academics and soccer. We speak frequently and he tells me about the commitment and hard work required to succeed.
