Sammy Jones '23 Recruiting Profile

It is my pleasure to recommend Sam Jones to you’re soccer program. Although, I have only been coaching Sam the past year, he has been a huge impact to the team and our club here at Ohio Galaxies FC. He is a true leader on/off the field, and is willing to put in the hard work and dedication to make not just himself, but his teammates better. I look forward to coaching and mentoring him the next few years while playing here at the club. 

I’ve been coaching soccer at an elite level for 13 years now. I’ve had multiple players move on to play division I, II, and III, as well as professional, and I truly believe Sam has what it takes to play at the next level upon graduation. 

I’d consider him to be a true holding midfielder. With his great vision of the field, and his awareness of his surroundings, it allows him to distribute the ball extremely well and put himself in positions where he can help the play to continue and develop offensively.  Sam can also be very crafty, and is really comfortable on the ball. With his excellent foot skills and soccer IQ, it allowed him to play Varsity soccer for his perspective high school as a freshman. Not to mention, he is an excellent student inside the classroom. 

I would wholeheartedly recommend Sam to be a part of your soccer program. He would be an asset to both the team and the university. Thanks for your time and consideration.
