My name is Alex Krasnow and I am a Junior at Orange High School in Cleveland, Ohio. My entire life I played center and outside back, but at the end of my sophomore year I thought it would be more beneficial to the team to move to holding mid. I talked to my coach and he told me that it was a good idea and allowed me the chance to try out for the position. That year I won a First Team All-Conference, and helped the team attain a season record of 10-6. I was also named the only Junior captain on the team.
The individual awards I received for soccer last year, such as Team MVP and First Team All-Conference, were extremely humbling. But for my final season of high school soccer the only goal I have is to win a State Championship, which is something my high school soccer program has never accomplished.
Looking to my future of playing college soccer, I would like to play the highest level while having a great overall college experience.
