Personal Statement
I have been fortunate enough to play for Sporting Padula Soccer Academy, going on my third season, under the training of former Columbus Crew and MLS Cup Champion Gino Padula. Gino’s club’s motto of “Become Better” has had an impact on me not only as an athlete but as a high school student. That motto has helped me realize that becoming better reaches beyond personal skills into teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, work ethic and character. My goal is to find a college that fits me athletically and academically which embraces the idea of “Becoming Better” as a soccer player, a student and a young adult.
