My goals as a college athlete may not be the same as all of the others. Other recruits may want personal success on the field and off the field. I, on the other hand, am a team player. I want to work as hard as I can to make my team thrive. I have been voted a team captain for three years in high school not only because of my skills on the field but because of my leadership all around. I will never turn down someone who needs help, and if I cant help, I won't stop trying until it is taken care of. Another admirable trait of mine is my ability to put in extra work. I have spent two whole summers becoming the best I can be no matter the weather. I drove over an hour numerous times a week to become a better player, not only for myself but for my team. Due to my extra work, I have become a better athlete and leader. I have been named all-conference four times, all-district four times, all Ohio one time, All-Great Lakes Region one time, and I was nominated as an All-American but sadly fell short of the award. On the other hand, in the classroom, I would consider myself a good student. My High School is notorious for producing better students for the college lever and provides the best education in the area. I currently have a 3.41 accumulative GPA and am predicted to increase by the end of my senior year. I have many other traits that I am proud of and I am willing to discuss them if further conversations are necessary.
