Garrett Ingram '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Garrett Ingram, I've been a dedicated and focused soccer player since I was 3 years old. I've worked hard my entire life to reach my goals. I've been playing at the Club level since I was 7 years old (U8 thru U11) in Arizona and Oklahoma from 2012 to present. I truly believe I'm a very coachable player as well as a TEAM player! I can take constructive advise and a leadership role all while having a great attitude. I'm very respectful to my coaches and my teammates. Over the years, i have experienced great success and failure as well. I can play multiple positions on the field very effectively! Most of my young life, I have dominated as a midfield player as that is my preferred position, but also spent many years playing winger and forward. My Club team and High School team moved me to Right Back and Left Back beginning of the 2018 season. My coaches will express that I have grown to be a great defender at the highest level. Outside of High School daily practices and weekly Club practices, I put in extra work to better my personal skills both physically and mentally. I believe I would be a great member to your team on and off the field and would be honored to be apart of a great program. I work very hard in the classroom to get the best grades I can get and currently have a 3.65 GPA coming out of my Junior year. I struggle a bit taking "test" and for that, I am trying to do better! My parents have always encouraged me to do my best in my studies as well as my other activities. My immediate goal and dream are to play COLLEGE SOCCER and to get a great education! It's been a goal of mine for many years! If given the opportunity, I absolutely will do my best, be committed and not let my coaches, teammates and professor's down! I am anxious and nervous at the same time. I look forward to taking the next step in my life and go after my goals!
