I want to grow as a student, soccer player and as a human being. Growing up, my parents have always told me that the only 2 things you can control are your effort and attitude and that everything else will fall into place. In everything I do, both on and off the field, I work hard, have a positive attitude and strive to be better than I was the day before. With these attributes, I not only push myself to become the "best possible me" but also my teammates and friends. I take my studies just as serious as my soccer, as can be seen with a GPA of 3.85. As well, in November of 2021, I had a 10 day tryout with the Olympiacos U17 Academy team in Athens, Greece. I performed well enough were I was invited back to Greece for a 12 week tryout in March of 2022 (all expenses paid). This tryout would have affected my junior year of high school and therefore choose to finish my school year off. As much as I wanted to go, I know that my schooling would have been affected and therefore decided to reschedule my tryout to a later date. The reason I chose the college/university pathway is because I get an education while still being able to play soccer at a high level. I don't like comparing myself to others as I just want to be the "best possible me", always putting in the hard work that will help me become the best version of myself. That's why I think I would be a great candidate for any team I play on.
