Iliyas Esoof '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Iliyas Esoof and I am in my last year of high school. I play the positions of Left-Back and right-back, as well as Winger. I have been playing soccer since I was 7 years old, for 3 different teams. I have always worked hard to continue developing as a player and as a person in order to bring my game to the next level. I have played competitively in both the USA and Canada.

When it comes to my play style, defensively I make it my priority to press players effectively giving them little time on the ball as well as no passing options. Offensively, I make overlapping runs to provide a width factor to the team. 

I understand the importance of playing together as well as motivating myself and others to ensure they are playing at their highest level. Having me on your team will be an asset not only at wing-back but for the other players as well.
