Matthew Chimienti '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, 

My name is Matthew Chimienti.   I am 15 years old and I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. Soccer has always been a passion of mine and I hope to get the opportunity to play soccer in the future at a post secondary level. I currently play on the Men's Senior Varsity team for my high school in addition to training with Liverpool Football Club International Academy,MI.  In my younger years, I  played a year up with various Academy Teams in both the United States as well as in Canada.  I have participated in many State Tournaments and Provincial Tournaments.  My main position is Central Attacking Midfielder with my dominate foot being my left. My greatest strength is my vision on the field and my ability to make quick decisions with the ball. 

Soccer has taught me a lot on and off the field as a person including being a role model, helping others when they need it, and continuing to be determined in whatever task I am faced with. I want to progress in my academic and athletic abilities currently and in the future as well. 

I look forward to continuing to pursue this avenue for soccer at higher levels of competition, and to strive to be the best coachable player and teammate as I move through this journey.
