Daniel Delo '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Delo, a 6 foot 1 Goalkeeper currently playing for Wheeling University in the NCAA Division 2. I am currently in the transfer portal and looking for a new school to call home.

Some of my best abilities as a goalkeeper are, that I'm a great shot-stopping goalkeeper, I'm very good at one one-on-one situation, I'm great at my footwork, and I'm a very aggressive keeper when it comes to a sweeper keeper or attacking high balls when needed.

I redshirted my freshman year and was the starting goalkeeper this year for Wheeling University. Despite how the season went, I feel like I did very well, with 9 games played and 40 saves made. 

I feel like I am an excellent candidate for any school that requires a 2025 goalkeeper next year as I have what it takes to win games in difficult moments and I am a very competitive athlete that loves to win. I would be blessed to see myself at any new school.
