Adam Ruggieri '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a  fullback or a defensive midfielder for Empire United Academy Niagara. I am excited about the chance at playing soccer at the University or College level. 

I have been playing soccer since the age of  4.  After playing club soccer for  8 years with  Lincoln Storm and Stoney Creek/Saltfleet,   I decided  to advance my soccer career by joining Chantilly Forever FC in 2017. In  2018, I moved to my current team, Empire United Academy Niagara, playing on a Showcase team travelling throughout Canada and the US. 

In the summer of 2022, I was invited to train and play for San Vito 1983, a semi-professional team located in Abruzzo, Italy.  This opportunity allowed me to gain valuable European  experience, learning and adapting to different game styles and  strategy  

I am a leader on and off the pitch and I believe that I am a fit for any program as I am a dynamic player that has a great soccer IQ and exceptional stamina and passing.

I am interested in studying statistics or engineering  in College or University, as I excel in subjects such as math and science, achieving 99% and 92% in these courses in my sophomore year.
