Throughout my years in high school, I have looked forward to playing at the college/university level very much. I feel that this is the best option for me as I would like to get a degree as well as progress in my sport (soccer). I have always been very athletic and good at all sports but no sport is nearly enjoyable for me than soccer. I feel that when I'm on the pitch it's my best way of learning and showing what I can do but most importantly seeing the progression as I gain more experience and build my confidence. Another very important thing to myself apart from soccer is a degree. I have always had a connection with business as it runs in my family and feel it's been my strongest subject throughout school and definitely the subject I enjoy the most. I really value education and understand the importance of getting a degree for life after soccer. Furthermore, I feel taking the college/university route is the best option for me as it helps me achieve both of my main two goals when it comes to academics and athletics.
Throughout my more advanced years in soccer something I've found that I've always been told from position coaches, head coaches, and even teachers and trainers is that I have something special. Each year this grows and slowly unfolds as to what it truly is but this is something I find very unique. When it comes to my greatest strengths as a goalkeeper I believe it is my speed, athleticism, coordination, shot-stoping, and leadership in a squad. When it comes to distribution I was always taught to keep the ball in possession so I am most comfortable playing around the back to open up space and create passing lanes.
I'm someone who values improvement very highly and I will do whatever I can to improve myself personally and as a team player. I can assure you I will put my all into being whatever a coach wants me to be. This is why I feel I should be on your roster.
