Manjot Pooni '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, 

My name is Manjot Pooni and I am a 2022 grad who plays center back. I started playing soccer when I was six years old. I was very eager to play soccer as it was a sport that my father and older siblings played; with me watching them play during their practices and games, I wanted to follow in their footsteps, and now I am looking to play at the college/university level. I have invested a lot of time into my sport, trying to improve as much as I can and learn more about the game itself, and I plan to do the same thing in the coming years. On the field, I would describe my playing style as very composed and wanting to keep possession of the ball. Within the team, I am always doing the absolute most to ensure my team succeeds.  

I am not only an extremely hard working person on the field, but am also hardworking in terms of my academics as well. I have been an honour roll student my last four years in high school and have been rewarded with multiple academic certificates for being one of the top students in my classes. Coming post secondary, I am still deciding on what specific field I would like to continue my education in, however I do know that I would like to pursue something in the sciences as I do have a strong interest in the field.
