Hello. I'm Matthew Rogers, a 2005 born soccer player who can play various roles in the front line. My primary position is left wing as I find lots of success cutting in onto my right foot and creating or finishing. However, I can also play striker. My best attribute is my ability to beat defenders on the dribble and when I'm on the wing I'm able to swing in crosses. One thing that I feel separates me from others on the field is my calmness on the ball. In tight or fast playing situations I am able to stay calm and find a way out of problems. I would like to attend a division 1 school with a strong soccer program and academic structure. When it comes to my character I will always work hard. I hate being outworked on the pitch and will always strive to be the best. Academically, I am currently in grade 12 and I have a 91% average. Over the past 2 and a half years that I have completed at my high school I also have a 91% average. In addition to school and soccer I also enjoy photography and have done some modeling. I would like to go into business studies in university and potentially focus on business management, marketing, finance, international business or commerce.
