I've been playing soccer since the age of 4. My first memories of playing this beautiful game was with my dad on the public soccer pitches in Sweden. I've been in love with the game ever since. I've moved a lot in my life, being born in Sweden and moving to Scotland and England before moving to Canada where I live now. So I've been given the opportunity to practice and develop my game in many different environments against many different players and teams. Of course, it's been tough leaving friends and family behind. But that's just another obstacle to be overcome and adds to my character.
I love soccer, but I also realize the importance of academics. I try to keep these two very important things balanced and I think I've succeeded in doing so. Our high school team managed to win the CISAA conference title. This is a big accomplishment but I made sure I was able to maintain my 4.0 gpa during the season. I would like to win another championship in high school and stay the top goal scorer whilst maintaining my 4.0 gpa. Some other goals I have in my high school career are to become a lifeguard (which I'm very close to accomplishing), continuing my venture in arts and learning to play another instrument and continue my volunteer work in my church. I would also like to go on a service trip for a week abroad.
I have big dreams I would like to accomplish at my time in college. One of them is to get into medical school and become a doctor. I would like to make a lasting positive impact in many people's lives and being a doctor might be one of the best ways to do this. I would also like to develop my game in college and improve as a player; winning a championship wouldn't hurt either. If I can accomplish these two main goals at my time in college, then I would consider my time there untradeable.
