I am a confident soccer player who is capable of achieving a high level of success with your team on the field and when upholding your school's academic standards. Soccer has taught me how to focus and train to be the best I can be, no matter what the situation is around me. My open minded attitude allows me to continuously learn from my coaches, teammates, and opponents. I am always looking to expand my knowledge of the game to improve my performance and team success.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my understanding of hard work, leadership, and perseverance. I am not just a team member but a strong member of my community. My love for community and soccer resulted in my volunteering as the head coach of the a St. Marys Minor Soccer U9 team. I also referee games throughout the season, and help with the indoor program through the winter months. At the age of 12, I have worked on a vegetable farm as a general labourer and more recently as a manager of the other students employed there. I have been recognized as a leader on many of my high school teams including the soccer team, volleyball team, and the nordic ski team. My academic goal is to enrol in a Bachelor of Science program at your institution. Please consider me as a valuable member of your soccer team and strong representative for the school and the surrounding community.
