Jorge Acosta López '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to go pro and play for the best teams worldwide. I have a strong passion for the sport. I want to and will do anything possible to be one of the best and reach the highest levels of soccer.  I'm working and investing my money into my soccer clubs, training, saving money for school, etc, so I can continue this passion of mine.  I am free to change and a really hard worker.  My goal right now is to earn an opportunity to play D1 soccer for a full-ride scholarship in the states.  It's a big sacrifice because I would be leaving my mom, but it's something I have to sacrifice to get where I want to go if I am given that opportunity. (Success comes with struggle and sacrifice) The full ride will help a lot financially but of course, it's something I have to earn. I will give in the best to my ability though!  I am super competitive and I always strive to be the best student-athlete I can be. If someone is giving 110%, I'm going to give 200%. With my attitude, I will do everything I must for not just me to succeed, but my team too.
