Oscar Brown '19 Recruiting Profile

I’m a two footed attacking midfielder. Described by my coaches and teammates as having creative field vision and strongly able to put the ball where my team mates are going to be. My attacking style of play reflects my hunger for winning but also my rich soccer IQ. I have captained many successful squads showing my leadership can help carry teams to important victories. My talent and IQ was noticed when I was selected to play against world class oppositions. I was selected by Dwayne De Rosario to represent team Canada Select to challenge a touring u18 Juventus academy. Too add, I was twice selected to play for an invitational team chosen from selected players across the USA and Canada, in The SuperCupNi (formerly the Milk Cup) in Northern Ireland. The tournament draws professional academies from around the world and is arguably one of the finest international amateur soccer tournaments today. Playing against world class teams like Southampton and Juventus has strengthen my appreciation, ability, and knowledge of the game. On an academic level. I attended Upper Canada College in Toronto studying the international Baccalaureate program. I aspire to continue competing at a high level while fulfilling my academic needs, I would like to pursuit an education in economics at a school where the environment and community is welcoming.
