Hello, my name is Luca Campoli. I am an elite Goalkeeper with a 4.0 GPA that is currently playing with the Vaughan Soccer Club where I had the opportunity to win two Provincial/State Championships at the U15 and U17 level. I am also a member of the U17 Provincial Xcel team that represents my Province. Prior to Vaughan, I played for the Toronto FC Academy (MLS Next) for 5 years.
I have a winner’s mentality and I am in constant pursuit of excellence not only in games but also in training. I am extremely coachable, bring a positive attitude to the dressing room and lead by example both on and off the field.
I have had the opportunity to play in several high level games in MLS Next, European competitions and the Ontario Provincial Development League. I have had success at every level winning several championship games.
I am an aggressive and brave goalkeeper with strong shot stopping ability, powerful dives, athleticism, and explosiveness. I have the ability to comfortably deal with crosses and command the box.
I have strong footwork and can build out of the back and have the ability to set up attacks with accurate distribution. I have good communication skills providing clear and concise information that organizes my team. I am a complete modern style goalkeeper.
