I have been interested in soccer my whole life. I have always had a passion for playing soccer and I will do anything to keep that true for as long as I can in my career. I have learned so much about the type of person and leader I am. I learned how to be a true captain and carry my team and motivate them to do better instead of walking all over them. I was the one that had to set the example. I learned that I am very passionate when it comes to soccer and whenever an obstacle tries to stop me from playing soccer I will do anything to keep playing and not let it destroy my dreams. Perseverance is key. I have faced many problems throughout my life where everyone thought that I would never get to the level I am now. Many people thought I would never get better at soccer because of my height and weight. I was very chubby as a little kid so when I would tell people that I wanted to play in high school and be like my brother, no one believed me and told me to choose another option. BUT I fought for what I believed in and now I can tell everyone that I have been a starter in the varsity team since my freshman year, and I will keep fighting to get better and play in college and even play as a professional.
My academic goals for high school is to finish strong and keep the good grades so that in the end it will benefit me for college and scholarships. My academic goal for college is to maintain a good GPA to be able to keep playing soccer during college and also graduate and achieve my goal of majoring in Business (sports management).
