I only started playing soccer when I was twelve years old. As I reflect on my high school soccer career, I would describe myself as a team player. I feel that the game of soccer does not need to or will always be won by me. I am a player who looks for the goal. If a teammate is closer or in a better position then I am, I will use my experience as an attacking midfielder to take control of the midfield get them the ball. But I will also take a shot if I have it as well. My goals for college is to become the best player I can by playing at the highest level of competition I am personally able to. Not only will I try to become a better player and leader on the pitch but I will aspire to be a leader in the classroom as well. Ultimately, I am driven to take my ability to the highest level and play for a professional team.
