Over the years, playing soccer has become a significant part of my life, and it became my goal to play at a highly competitive level, whether it be high school, club, or college soccer. Throughout the past few years, I have gained accomplishments that are evidence of my hard work and skills at this competitive level. I have won regionals, the state cup championship, and even reached the finals in nationals with my club team, Pennsylvania Rush '07. I was awarded captain of this team due to my great leadership skills, dedication to the team, attitude on and off the field, and overall skill. This also helped me become a starter for my high school team during my sophomore year and achieve first team all-conference and second team all-area my junior year. My vision on the field, quick decision-making, and ability to carry the ball calmly and consistently are a few examples of strengths that caused my success and high playing level. Along with this, I am confident on and off the ball, and have great communication skills, which also carries over to my academics and my schoolwork. In 9th grade, I was awarded a spot in the National Junior Honors Society, an outstanding academic excellence award, and achieved the honor roll. I also achieved the honor roll in 10th grade based on my previous two marking periods. Having good time management helped me be successful with balancing my schoolwork and my soccer commitment and also helped me achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.4. I plan on continuing to put my best foot forward in both schoolwork and soccer so that I can achieve my goal of playing at the highest level I can.
