Since I was born, I’ve always been a competitor. From the early days I was trying to beat my two older brothers in what often turned into grudge matches. Soccer became my sport of choice and I aspire to succeed at the collegiate level and beyond. The growth process is something I’ve valued as I’ve played with better competition. It’s much more than a game and I value the life experiences I’m taught in and outside the lines. I’m very coachable, curious, and always trying to learn.
People have told me my whole life I am very coordinated with both sides of my body. I am ambidextrous when it comes to some things. For example, I throw, eat, write all with my right hand. But dominant in everything else with my left, including soccer. Throughout my soccer career, I have always been an attacker or a winger. I love the rush when you beat someone with a move and score a goal, there is no other feeling like it.
As a child and still today, I cannot stand to lose. It is the most annoying thing that can happen. I am extremely competitive no matter the task. I love to play soccer, basketball, fish, cornhole, body surf and run on the beach. But no matter the task, I will do my best to win. I enjoy reading non-fiction books and learning interesting new facts about professional and college teams.
I have become more interested in computers recently. I co-founded the blockchain club at my high school and I’m intrigued by bitcoin and the future of finance.
