I competed in Premier level US soccer as one of the youngest players on my team. In my years on the side, I learned to love the high-level intensity and believe that is where I fit. I learned leadership, competitiveness, and many other skills, in which I can bring to your program.
In my junior year, I had helped my team to the state tournament and scored the game-winner in the first round of states. In that game, we went to penalties, and it was my job to secure the win, and I did so very calm and collected. Through this experience in a big game and our season on the line, I learned that no matter what is going on, you have to stay focused on the task in front of you, which is what I did. I had worked hard all through the season to be prepared for games that went on for 120+ minutes, and it paid off in that game. As our season ended, I finished 27th in the state of Pennsylvania for total assists and 6th in Class A, with 17. I became a more developed leader and stayed motivated even through the losses our team endured. Overall, I feel my experiences can bring a high level of leadership and a hard-working attitude to support and help lead a high-level team.
I have outstanding grades. I am ranked first in my class, with a great work ethic to keep myself there. I want to go to a school that will provide a stellar education and offers a high-level of athletics.
