I am a current senior (class of 2023) at Friends Select School in Center City Philadelphia, playing both varsity and club soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and it is something that has played a big part in my life. One of my favorite things about soccer is the camaraderie among my teammates, who are my best friends. Currently, my team is ranked 2nd in Pennsylvania East and 27th in the nation, and I am proud of my part in the team's success as a starting right wing. During my college visits I always sought out the soccer fields and realized that I want to continue playing at the highest level in college. Some of the strengths I would bring to my college team include endurance, excellent soccer IQ, coach-ability, puts team first, and tenacity. Academically I have challenged myself by taking the most difficult courses offered, achieving a cumulative 4.12 GPA and making the high honor roll every marking period, while also participating on the varsity tennis team, yearbook, computer science club, and physics olympics team. My goals for college are to study at a top tier university to pursue a math-based or engineering major with a minor in fine arts (painting), exploring many different subjects and career paths.
