I am competitive in the classroom, on the track, at the gym, and certainly on the pitch. I love to work hard, to compliment my competitiveness. My dad played D1 at Hofstra and has coached at Keystone Athletic for 12 years. I have lived at the fields. I have seen all the practices, know/worked with all the coaches, talked strategy, seen lots of great players, and have seen lots of championships won. I am a dedicated Premiere League fan. I want to win on the pitch. I was voted a team captain as a junior, by my peers. I dedicated myself to make sure to lead every day, at every practice, for every drill, every game, to be there for my teammates, on and off the field. Academically, I was always smart, but I put in the time daily, studying, to make sure I am at my best. I compete with the other students, in my various AP classes, I am high honor roll again this semester, along with being a member of the National Honor Society. My classroom grades speak for themselves. I look to earn a doctorate degree in sports psychology, so I can work with other student athletes.
Again, I just love to compete and just crave to win. I fractured my ankle this fall school soccer season. The team went 1-4 in my absence. It was tough physically and emotionally. I became our biggest cheerleader. It was educating, but frustrating, especially as a captain, to watch my team struggle. Our playoff hopes were bleak, but upon my return we went on a 5-0 run to surge into the final playoff spot. It was a great team accomplishment. We did get blown out in the first round, but the disappointing result has added to my motivation this off-season. I am still improving in the classroom, on the pitch, and as a person. Nobody will outwork me as I strive for my goals.
