Hello. My name is Javier Adorno-Poza; I am 16 years old and Honor Roll student at Carvin School, Inc. in Puerto Rico. Soccer is my game, my life. I’m really a passionate and dedicated player. When I’m playing I give all my efforts, I am a team player. Soccer is a very physical sport and every player needs to be a team member, communication is vital. I discovered that if the team works as one the final objective is easier to achieve: win the game. It really feels good to win, that’s why I go the extra mile. After the game I like to replay it on my mind, look for ways to improve and become a better player. My participation in Las Vegas Mayors Cup International Showcase is one step forward towards my goal to play soccer at college level while pursuing a business degree.
