My educational goals are to attend a college/university that will allow me the opportunity to obtain my bachelors, masters, and PhD in Aerospace/flight engineering. I would like to attend a college or a university that focuses on a well rounded academic experience for their students while allowing me to play soccer. My ultimate goal for my education is to obtain a PhD in aerospace/flight engineering. My aspirations for my future in my career are to become a pilot.
I would like to apply what I have learned in school in my field. I would like to give back to the community and teach kids that there is no obstacle that is to big to accomplish their dreams, no matter their life circumstances. I grew up in a very poor city in Guatemala and it taught me how to be humble and work hard to accomplish my goals and dreams.
I am a good candidate for a team that allows us to work and grow together in a partnership. As a player I am able to work hard and push myself out of my comfort level. I am able to take constructive criticism and apply what I have learned from my mistakes. My training from Central America and the United States has allowed me to merge playing skills and training from both countries in order to be a well-rounded soccer player.
What makes me different from other recruits is that I have a real love and passion for the game of soccer. I believe that holding myself to a high standard on and off the field. I ensure that I carry myself with respect, dignity, honor, and a positive image. I am loyal, respectful, hard working, honest, dedicated, humble, coachable, carrying, disciplined and believe that I can always do better in order to be better. I am a team player but can take a leadership role when necessary.
As a midfielder, I am able to have a vision of the field when playing. I am able to move my teammates forward when necessary and drop to defense when needed. I have the ability to assist and create plays that result in goals or assistance of goals. I have the ability to use my right and left foot for shooting , controlling and assisting in plays.
I grew up in a small town in Guatemala and at the age of five I was already kicking the soccer ball on the field. In 2018, I came to the United States without the ability to speak fluent English. I started my education in the United States in 7th grade where I had to adapt to the educational system that differed from the one in Guatemala. Since being a student in the United States, I have been able to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher in both middle school and high school. I strive in ensuring that I am able to obtain and maintain my grades. I feel that obtaining an education is very important to me, since I will be the first in my family to graduate from a university/college.
