In the fall season of my junior year, I suffered from a back injury that left me unable to do any physical activity for six months. The months I was out really reinstated my love for the game and was a catalyst in my decision to pursue college soccer. This included playing soccer. When I returned to playing high school ball in the spring, the team was headed into post season. I regained my starting position and earned Tennessee State Soccer 6AA All Region Player.
I am thankful to have been able to come back in good health to a welcoming program who came so close to reaching state. Through this experience, I learned the value of perseverance, hard work, and dedication. Along with a school that is a good fit for me athletically, I desire a high quality education. As I am currently enrolled in Central Magnet, the number five high school in the nation, I feel that it has prepared me to maintain a healthy academic lifestyle alongside playing soccer. I know I have what it takes make a great college student-athlete!
