I believe in having a goal and working to get there. I have had to take the long road to this point, but that is ok. I was shuffled from the first team in the '06 age group to the second team in the '05 age group when the year changes occurred. I was a solid midfielder and defender. I was also the back up keeper. I knew that it was going to be tough to make the top team as they were very strong and made the transition to full time keeper to give myself the best shot. After two years of tryouts, I made the top Germantown Legends 05 team (Black) after moving to full-time as a keeper and have had to constantly work to earn my spot. I think my time spent as a field player and my foot skills have made me a more valuable and aware keeper and that has helped me separate from the other keepers. I am comfortable on the ball and have good vision for distribution and for building from the back. I am athletic and enjoy the athletic plays a keeper has to make at this level. My favorite part of the full-time keeper job is the detail work. I love practicing and working to get better. I believe the fact I've had to earn my spot every day on such a strong team is a huge asset and I look forward to progressing and competing for my spot at the next level.
