2022 Spotlight Personal Statement
My name is Jake Grekowicz and I am a sophomore goalkeeper in the class of 2024. I played with the ODP Midwest Regional Pool and ODP Michigan State team. Through ODP and showcases, I went on trial with the MLS team Nashville SC. After doing well in the trials, I now play for the U17 Nashville SC MLS Academy and we compete in the MLS Next league. I am from Rochester, Michigan but now live in Nashville, Tennessee.
I am trying to pursue a lifelong goal to play soccer at the collegiate level. I believe I would be a great fit for your school because I am determined to compete at the highest level possible and I am very competitive. I strive to be a leader on and off the field. I have learned throughout my career that being hard-working, dedicated, and respectful are all quality attributes to have. I would like to continue to possess these attributes at the right college program for me. My attitude is great and I am a great student-athlete. I would love to dedicate my maximum effort and commitment to your program.
